The Chilli Bean at Charnwood Forest Alpacas

Relax with friends, family and your dogs in a warm, welcoming atmosphere at The Chilli Bean, located at Charnwood Forest Alpacas in Boundary a peaceful hamlet on the Leicestershire and Derbyshire border, just outside Ashby-de-la-Zouch.

All of our food is freshly prepared, with a comforting menu featuring breakfast baps, toasties, cakes and vegetarian and vegan options. We offer a wide selection of barista-made drinks and iced teas, and our lovely courtyard provides the perfect place to sit back and unwind.

Now proudly dog-friendly, with blankets, beds, treats and a dedicated dog menu available, The Chilli Bean is ideal whether you’re popping in for a quick coffee and snack or settling in for afternoon tea. Jo, the team (and the alpacas) will be on hand to make you feel right at home.

The Chilli Bean opens at 9:30am Wednesday - Sunday during the summer holidays, (last menu orders 2.30pm)

About The Chilli Bean

Housed in a cosy, once-derelict milking shed, The Chilli Bean Dog Cafe has been lovingly restored into a welcoming, dog-friendly space on our farm. Enjoy our café menu, a special menu for dogs, and our famous Afternoon Tea or Mini Afternoon Tea Boards.

Sip from a huge range of coffees, hot chocolates, and teas while your dog relaxes on one of our comfy beds. Take in views across our 110-acre farm, browse the shop for alpaca gifts, or simply stop by for a treat with your pooch. Everyone is welcome!
