Horse Riding Lessons
Our new, purpose built arena at Charnwood Forest Alpacas overlooks our picturesque 110 acre farm
and is the perfect place to enjoy outdoor horse riding lessons.
We are sure to have something suitable for everyone, adults or children with our private or group lessons which are either 1 hour or ½ hour long, so whether you are starting your equestrian journey, restarting after a break or want to work on something in particular we are here to help.
Our group lessons are the perfect environment to learn to ride. Our maximum group size is 6 to ensure you
will get the attention you need in order to progress and become a confident rider.
Your first visit with us will be a riding assessment. During the assessment you will be paired with one of our experienced horses for a
30 minute session which will be led by one of our friendly teaching staff. If you are a novice rider, don't worry we will go through everything
at your pace. We will also go through essential health and safety.

During your riding assessment, our team will discuss your riding goals and plan the best way we can help achieve them. Following your practical we will provide you with a written assessment with your current level (from 1 to 5) and a personalised plan detailing how we will guide and support you to reach your goals!
Every level you achieve you will be presented with a certificate and a rosette* to celebrate your progress.
*There is a small charge for a rosette. You can purchase these from our Reception during opening hours.

Clothing: Please ensure you are wearing suitable footwear, a 1 inch heel is mandatory for our lessons, please wear non baggy clothing whilst riding
